Podcast 510: No more 16GB iPhone?

The iPhone doesn’t even get announced at WWDC—well, not typically, anyway. But this year the run-up to WWDC is silly with iPhone rumors, and Glenn and Susie are in a tizzy about two in particular. One is that we may finally see the end of the era when iPhone storage started at a paltry 16GB. The other is that we may see the end of the tick-tock cycle for iPhone upgrades—this year’s iPhone is rumored to keep the same form-factor as the iPhone 6 and 6s, with a bigger redesign pushed out to 2017.</p><p>
Elsewhere, don’t make billionaires angry. Don’t buy into that study about rats getting cancer from smartphone radiation. Don’t worry about that ridiculous anti-encryption bill proposal, since it looks to be DOA. Don’t be surprised if Apple buys a cable company someday.
