KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in his latest note issued to investors predicts that Apple will be launching a brand new Apple Watch 2 later this year. He predicts that the new smartwatch will feature a faster and more power efficient 16nm FinFET based chip built by TSMC. It would also feature a GPS chip, barometer, and a higher capacity battery for improved battery life.
