Rumor: Steve Jobs Would Like His Phone Back
Uh-Oh.The rumor-mongers over at The Awl have heard tell that all the noise being made over Gizmodo's coming into possession of a 4G iPhone prototype has reached the ears of Steve Jobs. Surprise! He'd like his company's property returned, like, yesterday. The Awl also alleges that Gizmodo paid an unknown individual about $5,000 to come into possession of the handset. Details on this one are sketchy at best, but never fear--these things have a way of getting fleshed out fast. According to The Awl, Gawker Media's Nick Denton has stated that the tale of how his minions got their hands on the handset will be released, and that it's a "corker."Rest assured, we'll be following this one closely.
