Evernote's Skitch image annotation tool arrives for iPad I'm a big fan of the Skitch screenshot/annotation tool on the Mac; while there are countless ways to make and share quick image captures, Skitch combines the features I need most often with an accessible and friendly interface. The original 2007 beta lingered in pre-release form before finally going 1.0 last year, and the Skitch platform was acquired by Evernote back in August 2011.
Starting today, that same Skitch goodness is available for free on the iPad. Skitch for iPad lets you quickly crop, annotate and share images, or save them to Evernote for remembering. You can start with a camera shot or library image, a blank canvas, or built-in tools to capture maps and websites.
Interestingly, the Skitch team used to be part of Plasq, the publisher of Comic Life -- which made the leap from Mac to iPad back in May of this year.Evernote's Skitch image annotation tool arrives for iPad originally appeared on TUAW - The Unofficial Apple Weblog on Wed, 21 Dec 2011 17:30:00 EST.
