Everything Everywhere Gets Approval For 4G LTE Service In UK; Ahead Of ‘iPhone 5′ Launch
UK’s communications regulator Ofcom has approved an application by operator Everything Everywhere to utilize its existing 1800MHz spectrum to rollout 4G services for its customers from September 11, 2012.
Everything Everywhere - the parent company of Orange and T-Mobile, will be the first carrier in the U.K to be able to offer 4G services as the full auction of the 800MHz and 2.6GHz bands is only scheduled for the beginning of 2013.
