Boston University sues Apple over Gallium Nitride patent issued in 1997
Boston University (BU) has sued Apple for infringing on a patent issued to one of its professors in 1997. The lawsuit, filed in a Massachusetts district court, alleges that Apple is using a patented semiconductor device in iPhone, iPad and Mac without the university’s approval.
