DoJ accuses Apple of implementing In-App Purchase Policies to retaliate against Amazon
The U.S. Department of Justice today submitted a revised remedy for the e-book price fixing case, which found Apple guilty of “conspiring” with five publishers to raise the retail prices of e-books.
The revised remedy isn’t a lot different from the original proposed punishment, in which DOJ wanted Apple to let Amazon and other retailers add sales links from their apps.
