Slides for iOS completes Google's productivity suite on iOS

Google’s pushing hard into the productivity space on iOS, and continuing to build out its own microecosystem on Apple’s mobile operating system. Earlier this year, the company started to split off functionality from its Google Drive app, releasing individual apps for both word-processing and spreadsheets. Now the company’s completed the trifecta by releasing an iOS version of Slides, its presentation app.</p><p>
As with Docs and Sheets, Slides aims to bring the ability to create, view, and edit documents from your Google account, both online and offline, on any of your iOS devices. You can rearrange slides, add text, tweak formatting, add shapes, and so on—just as you can via the Web-based interface. Google Slides even allows you to invite friends and colleagues to collaborate, letting you jointly build or edit a presentation.
