Sonos co-founder & former CEO praises HomePod sound quality, but says Spotify support needed

To commemorate its newfound competition, Sonos yesterday released a custom Spotify playlist (https://9to5mac.com/2018/02/09/sonos-homepod-playlist/) with a hidden message for Apple.</p>
<p>Now, Sonos co-founder and former CEO John MacFarlane has taken to Twitter (https://twitter.com/JohnLMacFarlane) to share his first impressions of HomePod. MacFarlane was CEO of Sonos until last January (https://9to5mac.com/2017/01/10/sonos-ceo-and-co-founder-stepping-down-after-14-years-at-wireless-speaker-company/).</p>
