Mobile 4G LTE hotspot router heads to AT&T for $50

From 19 November AT&T subscribers will be able to buy the world's first mobile data hotspot to feature both 4G LTE support and the unusual innovation of a built-in 2.8 inch colour LCD touchscreen, the company has announced.

Announced last month by portable hotspot pioneer Novatel Wireless, the MiFi Liberate router is claimed to offer simple, finger-driven setup for 10 devices to share the same 4G Internet connection via 802.11n Wi-Fi.

Admins can also check data usage through the router's interface as well as set it up for DLNA media sharing and configure the way sharing devices (smartphones and laptops) use the connection, including configuring the integrated firewall.
