<p>FORTUNE -- "Around" Dec. 18 was when China Mobile (CHL) and Apple (AAPL) were to announce their iPhone distribution deal, according to the
Wall Street Journal.</p>
<p>But it's not happening -- at least not on Dec. 18. By 2 p.m. Wednesday, Apple's shares had fallen $16.19 (3%). They recovered to close at $550.77, down $4.22 (0.76%) for the day.</p>
