Apple to host Q1 2016 earnings call on January 26Apple has given January 26 as the date of its next earnings call, which will cover the company's financial status for the first fiscal quarter of 2016. The call is set to take place at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET, and audio from the call will be streamed live on Apple's website. On its previous Q4 2015 earnings call, Apple reported that it had sold 48 million iPhones, 5.7 million Macs and 9.88 million iPads with profit totaling $11.1 billion on a quarterly revenue of $51.5 billion. The upcoming conference call will cover the preceding holiday 2015 period, so it should be an interesting look at how Apple performed during what is usually a blockbuster sales period.
