More Mr. Grainy Cam: Alleged 4th Generation iPhone Photos Surface

Alleged photos of the fourth generation iPhone surface on various blogs,
but the quality and some Photoshop sleuthing cast doubts on the legitimacy of the photos.According to a post on Boy Genius Report, a series of photos have been leaked from someone claiming that they are photos of the fourth generation iPhone, rumored to be named the iPhone HD. The photos themselves are no where near to being as "HD" as the rumored phone, since it's clear Mr. Grainy Cam was at work for this job.     We don't believe these photos are real, since the pictures depict a device that looks like the back of an iPhone with an all aluminum unibody enclosure. However, this kind of body work doesn't promote cellular or Wi-Fi reception. BGR points out that the positioning and the size of various elements printed on the back of the device are not correctly proportioned, especially the Apple logo. On top of that, you cannot read the line containing the model number or serial number. Finally, one should also consider the fact that the photos, according to MacRumors, have been handled by Adobe Photoshop CS4 on different dates as recently as the last few days and one day in March. We also know that the brushed metal backside has been a problem for Apple with the iPhone 2G, and the fact that people complained about the squared off edges on Macbook Pros. So the question remains, why would anyone want to hold something that looks so angular in their hands? What do you think? Let us know by leaving a comment.
