Talkcast tonight: The silly season It's time again for the TUAW Talkcast! We'll be live on our usual TalkShoe meeting place, podcast fates and bandwidth permitting, starting at 10 pm Eastern time.
When the tech news cycle goes into holiday hibernation mode between Thanksgiving and New Year's, we often see the emergence of some offbeat stories that catch fire in the mainstream & Apple-centric press faster than you can say "Siri, where can I get a vasectomy?"
This week provided two great examples, with the "Siri bias" tempest and the somewhat more serious (but still deeply overcovered) Carrier IQ phone 'spying' story. We'll touch on these & much more tonight during our freewheeling hour of fun.
