Apple Patents New Touch ID Sensors That Can Be Embedded into Displays

Dreams of an iPhone without bezels just took a step closer to reality after Apple was granted a patent for a new Touch ID sensor that can be embedded within a display. One of the inventions, which uses ultrasonic imaging, would be even more reliable than today’s scanners.
