IBM buys Sterling Commerce from AT&#038;T for $1.4 billion


IBM bought Sterling Commerce from AT&#038;T for $1.4 billion. Big Blue said it will lump Sterling Commerce and its 2,500 employees in with its WebSphere middleware unit.
