Title: new 10.5 install always reboots at Darwin screen
Post by: mikeh420 on November 23, 2008, 03:20:22 am
I am able to run 10.4.6 on this PC but no version of 10.5 will work. After installing successfully, it reboots at the Darwin screen. Is there anything in particular that would just make it reboot like that? I have tried CPUS=1, platform:X86PC, etc.

I have:
MB - ECS L4VXA2 (P4X400) 1GB RAM
CPU - P4 Northwind Celeron 2.6 GHz (SSE2)
CHIP - VIA PT800 (Northbridge VT8754, Southbridge VT8250)
VID - ATI Radeon 9250SE 128MB
HD - Seagate 80 GB PATA
NIC - Intel Pro 100

Thanx
