Heads up: Apple is smart to pursue augmented reality

<p>Over the last few years, development of and interest in the virtual reality arena has truly begun heating up, but the same can’t yet be said for its close cousin, augmented reality. The most prominent product in the category to date was the much-maligned—perhaps rightly so—Google Glass (http://www.pcworld.com/article/2877904/google-glass-reset-shows-its-just-the-seed-of-an-idea.html), which never really cracked the consumer market.</p><p>But that doesn’t mean that the interest isn’t still there.
