News: Apple terminates Crimean developer agreements due to U.S. sanctions

Apple has begun sending out notices of termination to Mac and iOS developers registered in Crimea, TechCrunch reports. The notices cite sanctions that the U.S. has ordered as a result of Russia’s annexation of the region last year – specifically Executive Order 13685 from December 18, 2014 – and developers in the region are now barred from creating and publishing apps in Apple’s App Store.
