New Apple Wireless Keyboard with backlight controls pops up in Online Store

<div class="field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even" property="content:encoded"><p class="intro">A new version of Apple's wireless keyboard seems to have popped up on a number of the company's online stores (http://www.imore.com/apple-online-store) around the world.</p> <p><a href='http://www.imore.com/new-apple-wireless-keyboard-backlight-controls-pops-online-store' title="New Apple Wireless Keyboard with backlight controls pops up in Online Store"><img src='http://www.imore.com/sites/imore.com/files/styles/large/public/field/image/2013/08/apple_wireless_keyboard.jpg?itok=yVO3YvDt' />[/url]</p> <p>The new keyboard, like those found on Apple's MacBook Air (http://www.imore.com/macbook-air) and MacBook Pro (http://www.imore.com/macbook-pro) laptops, now seems to have backlight controls on the F5 and F6 keys, indicating that the standalone keyboard could be backlit, though there are no other signs that this is the case.<!--break--> Previously, those keys were blank, with no pre-assigned function. The keyboard also appears to have a power button taking place of the eject key, which now has little purpose on most Apple devices.</p> <p><a href='http://www.imore.com/new-apple-wireless-keyboard-backlight-controls-pops-online-store' title="New Apple Wireless Keyboard with backlight controls pops up in Online Store"><img src='(http://www.imore.com/sites/imore.com/files/styles/large/public/field/image/2015/03/new-wireless-keyboard-keyboard-arabic-press.jpg)?itok=JIHIu_1w' />[/url]</p> <p>Images of the keyboard have been spotted on Apple's Online Store for the Czech Republic (http://store.apple.com/cz/product/MC184CZ/B/apple-wireless-keyboard-česká), as well as their store in Hungary (http://store.apple.com/hu/product/MC184MG/B/apple-wireless-keyboard-magyar). An Arabic variant of the keyboard has even appeared on the U.S. store (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC184AB/C/apple-wireless-keyboard). No new descriptions accompany the images describing any new functions, so any other changes to the keyboard are unknown at this time.</p> <p>This new keyboard does not seem to take after the one found on Apple's new MacBook (http://www.imore.com/macbook).
