Apple starts charging Apple Watch buyers as it preps first Watch shipments

If you managed to preorder an Apple Watch at 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET on the dot on April 10, your Watch might actually arrive on Friday.</p><p>
Apple started charging buyers’ credit cards on Monday afternoon for a variety of different Watch models, not just the popular Sport. If a charge from Apple appears as pending on your card, check your Watch order status: It should have changed from “processing” to “preparing for shipment.”</p><figure class="medium right" itemprop="associatedMedia" itemscope="" itemtype="http://schema.org/ImageObject" itemid="https://cms-images.idgesg.net/images/article/2015/04/apple-watch-notification-100580433-medium.png">
