Apple may give social networking another shot with Beats Music reboot

Remember Ping? Probably not, but the music-based social network Apple tried in 2010 might be making a comeback as part of the company's Beats Music reboot.</p><p>
Musicians will be able to create their own pages within the service, which will possibly be renamed Apple Music, 9to5Mac reported (http://9to5mac.com/2015/05/13/apple-music-beats-based-streaming-service-to-have-ping-like-social-network-for-artists/). Artists can use those pages to share new music, tour dates, and more with fans, according to the unconfirmed report.
