What does Chief Design Officer really mean for Jony Ive and Apple

Jony Ive’s new role as Chief Design Officer at Apple gives him the opportunity to oversee a broader range of design projects, which, in theory, means he’ll play a bigger part in shaping the image of Apple and its products. But some believe the positionĀ isn’t all that it seems.
