Google search tweak helps you avoid long lines at local shops

Google search on mobile has a new feature to help you avoid long lines at your favorite local coffee shop, restaurant, or other hangout. Searching for select local businesses now includes a seven-day graph indicating when that business typically has its peak hours. Google says the new feature is available for “millions of places and businesses around the world.”

Finding the new feature is pretty easy. Let’s say it’s 8 P.M. on a Saturday evening and you’re hanging around Park Slope, Brooklyn when hunger hits. Your first thought might be to head over to the closest Five Guys Burgers and Fries location.

How badly do you want that burger?

To read this article in full or to leave a comment, please click here
