Developers can grab the build from the Mac Developer Resource Center (https://developer.apple.com/osx/download/), while both developers and Beta Software Program members can download the update from the Mac App Store.</p> <!--break--> <p>This is expected to be the first major update to OS X El Capitan, though what it will contain at launch is not yet clear. However, it does appear that some new emoji characters will make an appearance. El Capitan itself launched to consumers late last month.</p> </div></div></div><br clear='all'/>
