Hangouts 6.1 brings notification enhancements and limited Apple Watch support

Google has released an update for Hangouts on iPhone and iPad. The company has rolled out version 6.1, which includes some notable improvements, but we'll be focusing on the limited addition of Apple Watch support. It's quite the update and one we're sure Apple wearable owners who rely on Google's messaging platform have been waiting for. As well as the added Apple Watch support, Google also packed in the following: Reply directly from notifications. Group names in notifications. Contact names included in Google Voice notifications.
