Twitter's long-neglected Mac app gets a big refresh

<p>Twitter made good on its promise to deliverĀ a brand-new Mac app (http://www.macworld.com/article/2995508/iphone-ipad/the-best-new-features-unveiled-at-the-twitter-flight-developer-conference.html) on Wednesday, debuting a completely redesigned app that finally brings the desktop client in line with its web and mobile app counterparts.</p><p>Support for features that have become a staple of modern Twitter usage, such as inline video and animated GIFs, finally work, and the app no longer clashes with the design aesthetic of Mac OS X Yosemite and El Capitan.
