With Creative Kit, Macphun (http://www.macphun.com/creativekit) wants to pick up where Apple’s now-defunct Aperture (http://www.macworld.com/article/2375212/apple-retires-aperture-and-iphoto-to-be-replaced-with-photos-for-os-x.html) left off. As a plug-in to Photos (http://www.macworld.com/article/2907180/software-photography/review-photos-for-os-x-is-faster-than-iphoto-but-less-powerful-than-aperture.html), Macphun’s apps significantly augment the Apple app’s bare-bones editing tools. Despite their power, Creative Kit apps require a minimal learning curve.</p><p>
