Apple’s New WWDC Webpage Hints at Upcoming Public MapKit API for the Web

Soon after confirming the date for WWDC 2016 on Monday, Apple published a new webpage that teases its annual event. Within it, visitors will find an embedded Apple Map that shows the event’s locations — and suggests a public MapKit API for the web could be coming soon.
