Apple has hired former Nest executive Yoky Matsuoka to work on the company’s health intiatives, Fortune reports. Matsuoka is a famed robotics expert who co-founded Google’s X lab, helped develop a revolutionary robotic arm at MIT and won a MacArthur Foundation “genius” grant for using technology to help disabled people and stroke victims regain the use of their limbs.
