Five fab ways to use Snapchat's new one-handed zoom

Get the upper-hand on Snapchat's newest feature: the one-handed zoom!

While the zoom is used sparingly in Hollywood movies to convey drama, fear, and tension, the zoom on Snapchat is used to convey ridiculousness, creepiness, and hilarity.

As of yesterday, the only way Snapchatters were able to zoom in with their videos was with both hands – one finger held down the recording button while the other swiped in or out to zoom. While the process worked well, it posed a problem if you only had one hand free, or wanted to zoom inconspicuously (because let's face it, 90% of Snapchat is just creepin'), or wanted to smoothly zoom in on something (as the repeated taps could potentially shake the video).
