Alpine introduces 9-inch CarPlay unit for newer Jeep Wranglers

Alpine has introduced a brand new aftermarket CarPlay unit, the i109-WRA. The new unit is made specifically for the 2011 or newer Jeep Wrangler, and features a massive 9-inch capacitive touchscreen. The unit will set you back $2,500.

  Through its captivating, 9-inch capacitive touchscreen, the i109-WRA is designed for use in yourJeep Wrangler with your iPhone through Apple CarPlay. Conveniently located volume, track, home and Siri hard keys are accessible on the dash kit for quick access and simple control.


CarPlay allows you to more easily take advantage of your iPhone's capabilities while in your car. You can make calls, use Siri to send messages, and interact with a selection of car-friendly apps. In order to take advantage of CarPlay, you'll need an iPhone with a Lightning port running iOS 7.1 or later.
