Apps are coming to iMessage to spice up your conversations

Keeping in line with a pretty big theme at WWDC 2016, Apple announced that it will also be opening up iMessage to third-party developers with iMessage Apps.  With iMessage Apps, developers will be able to build specific experiences just for iMessage. With the feature, iMessage will feature its own app drawer where these apps will live.

In opening up iMessage, users will be able to do things like send stickers from a Disney iMessage app, or even payments through a Square Cash iMessage app. You'll also be able to start group food orders through DoorDash.

For more, keep it locked to iMore as WWDC continues.
