New images of what is supposedly the iPhone 7 have leaked out, and they indicate that an interesting change could be on its way to the Home button this year. While the current Home button is in fact a physical button, these latest photos suggest that the iPhone 7 could sport one that doesn't actually move, responding only to touch. The photos of the supposed "touch-sensitive" Home button first popped up on MobiPicker: It's worth noting that the Home button on the iPhone 6 and newer is touch sensitive. Tapping it twice without pressing is how you activate Reachability mode. If Apple is seeking to make the iPhone 7 thinner and lighter than its predecessors, then removing the mechanical components of the Home button could certainly help.
