Tablo brings its live TV and DVR app to the Apple TV

Tablo, which streams live and recorded programing throughout your home with its specialized DVR box, has released its app for the Apple TV. With the app, cord-cutters can watch broadcast television, either live or on-demand, without the need for a separate antenna.

In order to utilize the Tablo app, you'll need to have one of the company's DVR boxes. The company sells its DVR in two variants, a two-tuner model for $219, and a four-tuner model for $299. As with most DVRs, you can watch and schedule your recordings, and set up one-time or recurring recordings for different programs.

The Tablo app should be rolling out to the Apple TV App Store now.
