Public Beta of macOS Sierra Now Available

Apple's public beta program for macOS Sierra (http://www.macrumors.com/roundup/macos-sierra/) is now live following this morning's announcement (http://www.macrumors.com/2016/07/07/ios-10-macos-sierra-public-betas/) that both iOS 10 (http://www.macrumors.com/roundup/ios-10/) and macOS Sierra would be made available today. macOS Sierra will include a number of changes and new features such as Siri (http://www.macrumors.com/roundup/siri/) integration, Apple Pay (http://www.macrumors.com/roundup/apple-pay/) for Safari, Auto Unlock via Apple Watch (http://www.macrumors.com/roundup/apple-watch/), and improvements for Photos, Messages, and Apple Music (http://www.macrumors.com/roundup/apple-music/).

As with iOS 10, users interested in testing out macOS Sierra should visit Apple's Beta Software Program (https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/) website for more details and to register for the program. Once accepted, you should be able to access a redemption code and download link to allow you to access the Sierra installer in the Mac App Store (http://www.macrumors.com/roundup/mac-app-store/). Make sure you have a complete backup of your system before upgrading.
