Pre-orders for ‘iPhone 7’ now rumored for Sept. 9th, suggesting event during week of Sept. 5th

<p>Over the weekend prominent leaker Evan Blass, @evleaks on Twitter, shared a couple of interesting dates for when the next iPhone will be released. Blass tweeted that the 2016 iPhone would be released during the week of September 12th (http://9to5mac.com/2016/07/23/evan-blass-iphone-7-released-week-september-12-2016/), then later specified that Friday, September 16th (http://9to5mac.com/2016/07/25/iphone-7-retail-release-date-reportedly-set-for-friday-september-16th-as-rumor-suggests-iphone-6se-naming/) would be the actual retail release.</p>
<p>Now Blass is digging further and adding that pre-orders for the next iPhone will “start on the 9th” which happens to be the Friday before the release date he shared previously.</p>
