Earlier this month Apple was granted permission (https://9to5mac.com/2017/04/14/apple-car-dmv-ca-self-driving/) to publicly test a self-driving vehicle on public roads in California, and now the company has reportedly issued a letter requesting changes to autonomous car test policies. Reuters (https://twitter.com/ReutersTech/status/858017227358056449) first reported that Apple has formally proposed self-driving car testing policies through a company letter.
