Worldwide ban on laptops & tablets in airline hand baggage now being ‘intensely’ discussed

<p>An <a href="https://9to5mac.com/2017/03/27/laptop-tablet-flight-ban-ipad-bomb-plot/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">iPad bomb plot[/url] was said to have been one factor behind the original ban. The Trump administration last month considered extending the ban to <a href="https://9to5mac.com/2017/04/25/laptop-tablet-ban-flights-to-usa/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">all flights from Europe[/url], with the plan said to be ‘<a href="https://9to5mac.com/2017/05/10/us-tablet-laptop-ban-all-europe-flights/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">under active consideration[/url]‘ before it <a href="https://9to5mac.com/2017/05/18/laptop-tablet-ban-uk-us-flights-abandoned/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">was reportedly rejected[/url].</p>
