Judge Orders Apple to Pay $506 Million To University of Wisconsin For Infringing Patent with A7, A8 Chip

Apple has been ordered to pay $506 million by U.S. District Judge William Conley to the University of Wisconsin’s Alumni Research Foundation. The judge came to a conclusion that Apple infringed on a patent of the foundation for the processing technology it uses in its A7, A8, and A8X chips.
