Indian Government Considering Offering Exemptions to Apple For Opening Direct Retail Stores and More Assembly Units

The Indian government is considering offering exemptions to Apple to allow it to set up more units for assembling iPhones in India. The information comes from Ramesh Abhishek, top bureaucrat of the DIPP (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion).
