iPhone X’s Telephoto Lens Is Substantially Better Than That of the iPhone 7 Plus

A head-to-head comparison between the telephoto lens of the iPhone 7 and iPhone X shows that the latter’s telephoto lens is vastly superior in low-light scenarios. When Apple launched the iPhone 7 Plus in 2016, it mentioned that the phone would not switch to the secondary telephoto lens in extremely low-light scenarios and instead output an image from the primary camera only.
