Samsung has unveiled its next-generation Exynos chipset that will be found inside its upcoming flagship: the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus. Samsung is among the very few Android OEMs that builds and designs its own chipset for use in its devices. However, it also continues to make use of Qualcomm’s flagship chips inside its devices for the U.S. due to modem compatibility issues.
