HomePods are shipping with a ‘beta’ build of iOS

We wrote before about how HomePod updates (https://9to5mac.com/2018/01/30/homepod-software-updates-managed-through-home-app/) will be controlled by the Home app on iOS, but we didn’t know which version of iOS they would be running from the factory.</p>
