               Apple is promoting a series of third-party apps that allow users to track skiinbg and snowboparding workouts using the Apple Watch Series 3. Slopes, snoww, Squaw Alpine, Snocru, and Ski Tracks apps have all been updated with new tracking features that take advantage of custom workout APIs in watchOS 4.2 and the device’s built-in altimeter to track vertical descent, horizontal distance, average and maximum speeds, number of runs and calories…
