Let's face it, text-based communication is going the way of the pictograph. Mojave gives you permission to embrace the smiley face. These days, it seems like the most efficient way to get your point across is to send an emoji. Using hand claps, hearts, and cry faces is harder to do on a Mac because you don't have quick access to your list of emoji (unless you've got a MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, of course). Sure, you could drop the Emoji picker into your Menu bar or simply use the keyboard shortcut Control+Command+Space Bar, but in macOS Mojave, you'll be able to just grab your favorite symbol right in the message creation of the Mail app. Apple occasionally offers updates to iOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS as closed developer previews or public betas for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac (sadly, no public beta for the Apple Watch).
