Apple to Setup Global Law Enforcement Portal by the End of 2018

Apple has freshly announced a new global law enforcement web portal that is expected to go live before the end of this year. This portal will allow law enforcement officers to request user data from Apple lawfully. However, the company remains resolutely focused on protecting user privacy. This new portal will come under Apple’s Law Enforcement Support Program, the details of which can be found on the company’s privacy website.
