TechCrunch reports (https://techcrunch.com/2018/10/04/instagram-location-history/) today that Facebook (http://9to5mac.com/guides/facebook) is testing a new privacy setting that would share location history from Instagram with Facebook. This news comes on the heels of the Instagram cofounders (https://9to5mac.com/2018/09/25/instagram-2/) leaving the company, with Facebook’s former VP of News Feed being named Head of Instagram (https://9to5mac.com/2018/10/01/new-instagram-leader/). The Instagram location sharing is still in the testing phase, but Facebook did not rule out a full launch.
