Apple begins 2019 in Japan with one-day shopping event offering gift cards with select purchases

<p>As it has done previously, Apple kicked off a one-day sale (https://www.apple.com/jp/shop/gifts/new_year) in Japan today to celebrate the start of a new year. Customers purchasing select iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Beats models online or at an Apple store will be eligible to receive a gift card valued between 3,000 and 24,000 yen.</p>
