How to add a podcast by URL

Adding a podcast by URL into Apple Podcasts is easy peasy. Here's how!

Podcasts have always been fairly popular, as many people find them to be great forms of entertainment, whether it's strictly audio-only or even video. There are many podcast apps out there, but if you just want something simple and lightweight, then Apple's own Podcasts app should get the job done.

While Apple Podcasts has a terrific Browse section that is jam-packed with great recommendations, it's not the only method of finding and accessing a podcast. A lot of web personalities out there are doing member-only things these days, through Patreon and other services. With these memberships, you may gain access to something like a private podcast that you can't just search for in public podcast directories.

If you ever come across a private podcast feed, it's easy to add the show directly into your Apple Podcasts app (as well as other third-party options).
